Review Procedure
The Eastern Journal of Pharmaceutical and Allied Sciences (EJPAS) is a peer-reviewed journal. It publishes good science that benefits the whole scientific community. Peer review is key to scientific publishing. It confirms the reported science.
The editorial office will evaluate a new manuscript. They will check that it is authentic and complete. It must be ethically approved, original, and innovative. It must be correctly formatted and significant to the field. It must also be within the Journal’s scope, written in the style of a scientific article, and in English. If article has problems with any of the above criteria may be rejected.
Double-Blind Peer Review Process
Once an article manuscript is deemed suitable by the Editor(s)-in-Chief we follow the double-blind peer review process.
In Double blind review process neither authors nor reviewers know each other’s identities.
Reviewers get criteria for their evaluation. They must comment to the author, if any. They may also give feedback to the Editor’s office, confidentially.
Reviewers evaluate a manuscript for its:
- Originality and significance of contribution
- Methodology, analysis, and comprehension
- Interest to the research community
- International relevance
Once all reviews have been received, the Editor(s)-in-Chief, make reviews available to the author(s) and the comments to the author(s) of the manuscript.
If the manuscript is accepted, then the author will be provided with the formatting guidelines for final submission.
If the manuscript needs major revisions, the author must:
- Follow the reviewers’ comments.
- Use the resubmission formatting guidelines.
If the manuscript is rejected, then the process ends.
